If you are wanting to help in some way during this disaster and are looking for a place to send monetary support, one place you may send it is to our congregation here in Baton Rouge. You can make your checks out to South Baton Rouge Church of Christ and in the memo line designate it is for hurricane relief.
Mail your check to:
South Baton Rouge Church of Christ

Baton Rouge, LA 70809
We are in this for the long haul and will use the money for hurricane relief - not other uses. We have a relief shelter that currently houses refugees and a few workers. We are also in the process of becoming a distribution center. We want to meet the needs of all those that we can.
There is a link to the South Baton Rouge website on the left if you would like more information about our church family.
If you don't help through our church family, please help in some way There are many people now spread through many states that will be in need for some time. There has been an outpouring of love and help - which is what you would expect in a time like this. It is all appreciated. Please keep praying for the refugees, the workers, the government and all the kind people who have taken others in.
